About us
Peerless Blowers is located in Hot Springs, North Carolina at the junction of the Applalachian Trail and the French Broad River in the beautiful Southern Appalachian Mountains.
The company was started by Elmer Gillmer in 1893, in Warren, Ohio and and was known as the Peerless Electric Company. H.K. Porter purchased the company in 1959 and in 1988 HBD Industries purchased Peerless Electric. In 1992 the fan and blower operation was moved to its present location. For a few years the company was known as Madison Manufacturing and recently the name was changed to Peerless Blowers.
Peerless Blowers is an AMCA member and our facility is ISO 9001 certified. We obtained ISO-9001 registration in December 2003 and are now registered to the latest standard of ISO-9001:2000.
